No campaign in the history of Pinellas County had gathered over 4,000 signatures in five weeks and placed a Federal Office Candidate on the ballot. But we did it.
And it couldn’t have been done without nearly 100 folks volunteering to help. Some gathered 2 or 3 signatures from friends, family, and co-workers. Others volunteered hours at Municipal Elections, libraries, public venues and knocked on doors.
Every person counts. The same will be true as we grow our grass roots movement and set our sights on Washington, D.C.—where Samm will be a voice for the people, not the corporation.
Using the late US Senator Paul Wellstone’s (D-Minnesota) formula, we’re looking for 2065 motivated, grass roots volunteers to help us change history. Here’s how you can help.
