Thanks to You, We're on the Ballot.

You did it. Volunteers who asked friends, family, co-workers and neighbors to sign. Those of you who stood at libraries in Largo, Pinellas Park, Dunedin, Seminole and St. Petersburg. You boldly inquired while strangers passed by, " Are you a registered voter? Would you be willing to sign a petition to help Samm Simpson get on the ballot?" You were accepted and rejected, ignored and encouraged. You volunteered your time and your mind.
You did it. And on March 21, there were over 5000 petitions turned it, and enough were verified to put us on the ballot this November.
Thanks first and foremost to the number one organizer in Pinellas County, Mike Fox, who put his heart, soul and sweat into making this happen. MIke developed a team approach that was both sharp and strategic. His Team Leaders included: Sharon D., Ruthann R., Leslie S. and David N-VD. These folks spent hours in front of the library and talked to hundreds of registered voters.
There were many others who spent one day, many days, one hour or ten helping this process. Each person volunteered their time, energy and life spirit to help this cause. A cause that is greater than each of us. A cause worth our sacrifice. A cause to take back this great nation from greed corruption, hubris and power. Our leaders have forgotten that their first job is to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States, from all enemies, foreign and domestic. They have forgotten their role as Public Servant, not as signatory to the lobbyists.
Let me know if I'm missing a name. Email me at samm@sammsimpsonforcongress.com and I'll edit this page.
Each and every one of these Patriots put in time to take back their country. These are NOT in alphabetical order, and each played a critical role.

Words are inadequate to express the hope I have to bend back the darkness. Each of us has a part to play. We can make a difference. We can make history.
On a final note. . . Just in case you missed it, here's the most recent Frontline TV documentary, Bush's War. A must see.
